Changing Hearts, Changing Lives, One Soul at a Time

CoVid - 19

“Be still and know that I am God…” Psalm 46:10 (KJV).
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love,
and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7, (KJV).
To our FBC Friends & Family,
We wanted to reach out to you regarding the changes at FBC as a result of the COVID-19 virus guidelines. We seek to listen and follow God’s leading and take the appropriate steps to safeguard everyone.   We also wish to honor the advice given by the medical experts to minimize the spread of this virus. Salvation and spiritual health are our number one priority, as well as the physical health and safety of our FBC Friends & Family.
After prayerful consideration, our leadership team has decided to temporarily close the FBC Buildings to all church services, group meetings and ministries. There will still be an online live streamed Saturday service at 5:30 pm on facebook. (go online to facebook, put in First Baptist Church of Williams, like and follow us) This service and past services can be replayed on facebook whenever you want. We urge you to join the FBC family every week in this way.
“Self-isolation” and “social distancing” are new terms to us. By adopting these new temporary practices doesn’t mean disconnecting from your FBC Friends & Family. We have a God given opportunity to use technology to share, encourage, love, support, and pray for each other. By live-streaming, calling, mailing, texting and emailing, we can continue to communicate in a timely manner. Remember to email or call in your prayer requests/praises to the FBC office and we will get the information out ASAP by whatever means needed. (secretary@fbcwilliams.com / 928.635.4692) We are grateful to have a group of tremendous prayer warriors here at FBC! If you are not on our email or call list, please contact the church office to be added to it.
Tithes and offerings are also an important part to keep FBC paying its bills, including outreach for Missions and Benevolence items. Options include: Mailing a check, paying online through your bank’s bill pay, or dropping it off at the FBC office M-Th 9 am – 3 pm or Sat 8 am – 12 pm.
Your donations will help us help others as needed, at FBC and in our community. (Mail to FBCW, 629 W Grant Ave, Williams, AZ 86046-2338)
As updates about the Virus are received, we will keep you informed of changes affecting you and FBC. We are committed to serving Christ, seeking and saving the lost, and serving one another in love. Remember this is a temporary situation and God is still in control
